These mugs are perfect for Cappuccinos, Lattes, hot cocoa, soups, stews, ice cream, dips and so much more. In this class you will learn to throw a mug, trim it, make and add a handle, and glaze it. We will also discuss dishwasher and microwave use of your handmade pottery mugs.
This class is suitable for all ages and students should know the basics of wheel throwing.

Materials:
Pottery Wheel
1 lbs of clay for mug with 1/4lb for handle, I am using Laguna Bmix 5 clay
Medium red mud tool rib and Wooden rib
Pottery Sponge
Wooden clay knife
Needle tool
Cutting wire
Bucket for Water
Serrated rib
Slip or Magic Water
Diamond Core Tools T3 Trimming tool
Throwing Bat, I am using the studio pro spacesaver bat system
A kiln or access to one
Mayco Fan Burush and Sumi Brush
