Join traveling artist Laura Williams in learning to create refined unique wares using the traditional method of pinching and coiling. Participants will discover methods for altering, building and balancing their forms! Learn to pinch from one piece clay, combine forms, and coil your wares. Additional demos will include, lids, spoons, feet, handles. The second class will focus on methods for decorating wares. Underglaze, glaze, terra sigillata, and slips will all be discussed.
